Description
At the heart of DuPont, WA, the Community Presbyterian Church opens its doors to all seeking a place of faith, friendship, and fulfillment. Our church is more than a place of worship; it's a vibrant community where individuals and families come together to explore their faith, support one another, and make a positive impact in the world. Whether you're drawn to the uplifting hymns of our choir, the wisdom imparted in our sermons, or the welcoming embrace of our congregation, you'll find a home here with us. We invite you to experience the joy of our services, the depth of our fellowship, and the warmth of our community. Join us this Sunday and let's walk the path of faith together.

Established in 1909.

Our church was organized in 1909 by a small group who met in the former Hudson's Bay Company manager's house at Fort Nisqually. In 1916 the Villagers worked hard to raise funds to build the First Church of Dupont on land donated by the DuPont Company. The building was completed in 1917 and was dubbed the "Campside Church" when it began ministering to the needs of soldiers from Camp Lewis (now Fort Lewis) during WWI. In 2017 we transferred to the Presbyterian denomination, the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians (ECO). Here is a link to explore more about our new denomination: ECO-pres.org Our church in DuPont continues to affirm the reliability and authority of scripture in ways that have guided Reformed-minded churches for centuries. We also embrace the "orthodox" teachings of the Bible regarding the main tenants of Christianity, including the triune nature of God [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] and the essential work of Christ's atonement for our salvation.
